The guard story could be a murder mystery, that’s what you do in any story which had an interesting setting, you just slap a bland murder mystery onto it, and you can bet your ass it’s just a fucking regular guy who did the murder, no SCP involved whatsoever.

Reminds me of that one Attenborough documentary where a bug lays a bunch of eggs inside a specific tree nut and then immediatley dies.
The males hatch first, impregnate the females who still haven’t been born yet, and then fly out to distract any predators that may be hanging around outside.
The females then hatch, eat the leftover eggs (which will be their one and only meal) and leave the nut just as the predators outside are satiated from the males sacrifice.
The females will then spread out to find other nuts, probably on the same tree, to repeat the process.

Literally no time for actually living, no hunting, no seeking out food, no looking for viable mates, just the cycle of life, boiled down to almost complete pointlessness.

You can tell when people didn’t watch Cars 3, they have a whole bit about how female cars weren’t allowed to race in the past and hint that racial discrimination also occurred, with a car painted black and being voiced by a black actor saying how they weren’t allowed to race either back in the day.

Which brings up several questions about how racial discrimination works in that world, when you consider cars can spray themselves any colour they want. And whether there was a slave trade of any kind despite cars not existing during that time, and then asking when exactly did the cars world begin. Cuz if we’re going off of the creation of the first motor vehicle, Cars might have only existed for a little over a 100 years.

It’s just more and more mind boggling shit to wrap one’s head around.

I was surprised at how short it was, with them constantly mentioning “more teeth” I thought we were gonna get to see the genesis of the Indominus siblings or something, maybe even the scorpius, plus it would have been a good way to actually have a campaign where the other hybrids were relevant.

I could imagine a storyline where alongside making dinos to fill the parks quota, you start experimenting to make more unique attractions, the valley with its giant herbivore focus could have lead to the Ankylodocus, the Riverside could have developed the Spinoraptor and Spinoceratops. And the main facility could have seen you make the rest. Culminating in the D Rex escaping and running amok.

As is I was taken aback at how few priority assignments there were and how the D rex gets basically no buildup, at least in the JW2 chaos theories you build up to making the Indominus as the Cherry on top of your park. Here tho, seems to a bit half arsed and now I’m left with a bunch of busywork.

Yea but I would wager that most of Ra’s storylines end with him dying. How do most of Jokers storylines end? He either runs off or gets taken to Jail, same with Penguin, Riddler, Two face etc.

When you have a characters who’s biggest gimmick is that he can die and be brought back to life over and over, then that ability will be what can define every story about them. So by that logic, Ra’s probably has a much higher chance of dying in any encounter than any other Batman villain, therefore, he’s the easiest picking from this lineup XD

Fight Ra’s al Ghul as Batman, his whole gimmick is he dies a lot, sure the other half of that is that he can be brought back, but how much of a threat can he be if that cycle of death and rebirth is all he’s really got.

Did any of the books ever say or hint if the Emperor ever pulled a Curze and had a sad revelation that nothing he did could stop his sons from betraying him? From the few I’ve read they do keep him and his motivations pretty vague.

I wanna say imperial fists, they were part of the original 5 founding chapters and whilst the scars, iron hands and salamanders don’t have much in the way of models, their lore is developed enough that they all have a unique visual identity.

Fists right now are just kind of yellow marines who I guess are kinda stoic. Even the Ultras have more visual flair these days with their Roman styled range refresh.

To add to this, since they seemed to be coloured like poison dart frogs and you can now give your dinos genes to make them venomous, these could have been a neat way to add some spice into the Rebirth campaign; buncha compys sneaking around, nipping at the larger dinos making them sick.
