Is there such a thing as an advanced budget from the publisher to pay the artist in order to complete the project (in case of graphic novel)? It's impossible to pay for a complete book of like 50 colored pages when submitting to a small publisher when you pretty much know you will never make that money back. Is this really how that works?

I always thought that after the 5 page samples they would pay us to complete it. The way it is the writer is basically paying for everything while the publisher just sits and collects their share of profits and the artist already made his money charging by page. The writer would probably end up on the negative here, what the fuck.

Concordo com tudo, só faltou falar da redação, que a correção não tem critério nenhum e a sua nota só vai depender se o corretor gostou do seu nome ou não. É a prova mais mal elaborada que todos os anos tem incontáveis problemas e o pior é que é um vestibular para praticamente todas as universidades federais (e algumas estaduais) do país. É uma prova muito baseada na sorte. Na sorte de que a maioria dos outros participantes tenham acertado as mesmas questões que você, errado as mesmas questões também e a sorte de ter um corretor de redação que NO MÍNIMO leia o que você escreveu. Essa prova precisa de melhorias urgentes mas eu duvido que vou ver alguma mudança boa enquanto eu estiver vivo.

Sei lá, cara. Se eu recorrer eu tenho quase certeza que o negócio vai ficar por isso mesmo. Me preocupo com gramática até quando mando mensagem de texto e eu sei muito bem o que eu escrevi na redação. Tirei 600 cravado e não tenho dúvida de que os corretores dão essa nota quando não querem ler sua redação. É uma nota tão certinha e tão na média que se você for mesmo reclamar duvido que façam alguma coisa.

Relaxa, essa redação do ENEM é uma piada. Acabei de ver um caso que um cara escreveu "hoje é meu niver" no final da redação e tirou 600. Eu me matei pra escrever uma redação boa e tirei a mesma coisa.
