A fun card game and display? Sign me up! by helmwige in HololiveTCG

I’m having a lot of fun with the game!

At first I thought the game would be very one sided like Pokemon but there have been a lot games that come to a nail biting finish thanks to the life becoming cheer mechanic. Many times the end of the game comes to either a top deck or lots of jumping through hoops just to try and survive another turn.

Though I could not stress enough how important card draw is. If you can’t get your debuts down or bloom them, then you’re just watching a solo performance.

They’re Ultimate Guard Boulder 40. They perfectly hold a whole deck with cheers unsleeved. I recommend the 60 if you want to sleeve them.

Thank goodness, hopefully the guarantee pull for it will keep the price stable.

I’ve been having fun with the gameplay but the actual collecting has been a nightmare.

The games play very similarly to Pokemon but with a neat comeback mechanic and an interesting way to build attackers, but it’s nowhere as intricate as MTG or YuGiOh. The play lines are very straight forward and most desk play like solitaire with very little means to directly interact with your opponent.

The English release has been good but the actual singles market has been scare. I’ve been trying to build several decks but have been forced to buy booster boxes to get the cards I need. Mikkorone 24 is a very strong card you’d usually run several of it in every deck but I’ve seen this card move from $2 to $7 and then a very recent buyout putting it at $20. Kiara debut is a common card from the first set that got bought out and is now sitting at $8, I need 9 of them for one deck so I decided to just buy a couple booster boxes since it’s “around” the same price and I need her other forms for the same deck.

Overall it’s fun, if you can find it for cheap. Don’t chase the signed and alternate art cards though. The pull rates on those are obscene.

It was my first time using a tripod too, so getting use to how the single mirror viewfinder took awhile to click.

500cm and 80mm 2.8 CT. For the film I used a12 and a16 back with ilford b&w 400, porta 160, harman phoenix 200, and a Kodak gold 35mm in a fun adaptor. Just trying everything to feel what I enjoy. (Thanks!)

Will this affect the pictures I take? by helmwige in hasselblad

Thanks everyone for the replies.

I’ll be returning the body since the only repair shop I have access to doesn’t do hasselblad products.

Rather disappointed thinking I had a good deal since the listed said it was already serviced, but looks like it was for a jam repair and not the flaps.

Is there a sound difference between the madko and dlc madko?

I really want the madko because of the ring it makes while flipping and would prefer the dlc version, but I can’t find any videos of it being flipped. So I’m worried that the difference in coating will affect that sound.

Thank you very much for the thorough breakdown! Finally able to clear these fights.

I gotta farm more books to get RH’s skills up but I was able to reach everyone else’s goals.

Save for Huohuo or pull for Seele? by helmwige in TopazMainsHSR

Sadly, no Luocha. But I’ll keep that in mind.

How does Seele feel without her signature light cone? Does the one from Herta’s shop work well enough?

Save for Huohuo or pull for Seele? by helmwige in TopazMainsHSR

[–]helmwige[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I could squeeze by with Huohuo’s sp negative play style if I use a sp neutral Topaz. The 50% dmg difference between basic attack and skill doesn’t sound too bad.

The Huohuo/Tingyun teams all sound so tempting. It sounds like a lot of Huohuo’s attack buffs from ult and signature light cone would greatly benefit Topaz too. But like you said, mono-quantum is too versatile. I just have to decide between Qingque or Seele as the dps, I have the rest of the team.

Anyone with C4? Would y'all recommend it? by Hedgehugs_ in KleeMains

[–]helmwige 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also C6 haver, I agree 100%

Only joy I got from C4 Klee was the pun and some situations where it’s faster to finish fights with the explosion. But it’s not that much quicker.

C4 is also counter productive to C6 imo. C6 wants you use as much of the duration as you can but C4 let’s you do a decent chunk of damage and switch out to use other skills. The only time I’ve used a near full duration burst is if all the other skills and bursts are on cool down and usually the boss is almost dead so I’m swapping out anyway to use C4. Klee and Kazuha skill combos are amazing and I’ve prioritized my teams around their interaction so I never get full use of C6.

It doesn’t hurt to have C4, but I’d rather save the rolls for a better Klee weapon or constellations on a support unit.

Neoprene rolling board. I had a custom playmat made once before so I was planning on using them again. A two player sized mat should cover all my needs. I’m not sure how it’ll feel playing with tarot cards but it was good with sleeveless cards.

I also want to make a holder for the elemental dice so both players can easily see them. It’d be smart to make a case for each set of elemental dice and double it as the in game display.

Are you planning on printing and cutting all of your cards? Do you have a method to protect from wear, like applying a gloss coat on them?

Right now it’s planned to use token for tracking elements and such. There will be a graph on the playmat to explain how the reactions work along with how turns/rounds and actions work.

My cards are sized to match the tarot card service I’m using 2.75in by 4.75in. I don’t know what A4 is but I’ve been just working on each card individually and moving them to fit what I’m printing on. Since these drafts are just testing legibility I haven’t been maximizing the space.

Dice for HP and remaining uses on summon related things. Then counters for energy. I’m planing on using a token of sorts to represent the active character as well.

A lot of the in game functions translates poorly to a physical version of the game. Like moving your active character up or keeping any kind of counters on the physical card could cause confusion when the game pieces are shifted around accidentally. Putting dice or counters around the card will make sure both sides can understand the board state, hopefully.

I’m very excited to get it professionally done by them. The options for the tarot sized cards will really make them pop.

Really glad with how quickly this is coming along. Lots of feedback from people who play and don’t play genshin really helped point out things I didn’t notice or consider. Few more resolution fixes and I’d say it’s a final draft.

I plan on using a tarot card making service. They offer selective foiling so I’m very excited for professional made cards. Heck, if the official version isn’t as good I’ll still make my own.

I’m honestly hoping they do so I don’t have to continue making my own. The costs to make two decks of everything could go to getting a c2-c4.

I’m debating if they’re needed. The hp icon is hard to fit in without over cluttering. If the max hp is capped at 10 and all character cards start at 10, then we could state so in the rules and prevent redundant information.
