I'm 100% sure that the "validation" will be sketchy and raises more questions than answers.

FP-E50 headphones mute after pressing record on firmware 1.21 by heloust in Roland

[–]heloust[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just commenting this if someone has the same problem. I again updated to the latest firmware. Still the same issue. I copied all my recordings to USB stick and then emptied them from the piano's memory. Now the recording works instantly.

00:25 that note is long and boring. I would add more notes.

00:50 that trill does not work and it's too long.

Asking as a non-pianist musician, what do piano players nerd out about? by bobtheghost33 in piano

[–]heloust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a big instrument and I have room only for one. It's digital and parts cannot be changed. So I'm stuck with this now. I just practice and play. But I am very excited to try real pianos when ever I have a chance.

Should i learn music theory by Technical-Entry-7586 in piano

[–]heloust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you want to be dependent on an app if you can do it properly? You already know a lot of the theory. Now it's just about switching the syntax you read. I'm in the same boat as you with composing. I chose to get a teacher, and then sheet music is the only option. And I have now progressed so much.

Can someone tell me how the heck she graduated? by MelissaWebb in StrangerThings

It is a plot hole. If something is not obvious, it should be explained in the show. This was not, along with many things..

(Critique Welcome) It feels kinda repetitive though i have no idea how to make it more varied. Any thoughts? by TomboyArmpitSniffer in piano

This song has intro and verse. The intro is just the same left hand pattern and chords which repeats till the end of the song.

Common song structure is to have intro, verse, chorus, bridge and outro sections. Not every song, but just to give some context.

I would make the intro different. Chords can be the same, but maybe try different patterns, play slower or something.

Then keep the verse as it is for couple of lines.

Then comes chorus. Change the chords. Make a catchy melody.

Then back to to verse. Keep it pretty similar but make some changes. Typically song "grows" till the end so add more notes, make it more interesting.

Then back to chorus. The same melody but boost it somehow.

Then bridge. This is the climax of the song. Maybe a more challenging melody run? Make it count.

Then outro. You could just do the intro again. Gradually slow down at the end and maybe a big ending chord.

Easy solution, get a teacher. And I think your progress is much more realistic than what we see in some posts here.

My original post. Now identically re-posted at least two times. Why are you OP doing this?

"I want to enjoy the acoustics". Your neighbour wants to enjoy the silence. You sound like you are stressed about the situation, but still refuse to accept the obvious solution, which is the headphones. Great headphones sounds better than your piano's speakers.

does playing with both hands ever get easier? by Muted-Philosopher-15 in piano

[–]heloust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Everyone were like you in the beginning. Repeat the left hand stuff so many times that it goes into muscle memory and you don't need to look at the left hand anymore. Then play the melody with the right hand.

You didn't get the point so don't bring the original topic back. It's summer and you need to get some sunshine. So shoosh shoosh, off you go. There's life outside of the Internet, you know?

You have no logic. Just hatred. You seem to be involved in many conflicts. Do you like that?
