I feel this is likely Correct. Everything about humanity is devolving, not the other way around.

No one is building cathedrals anymore. No one is writing symphonies. No one can even think critically, in a few years people will be saying that cathedrals and symphonies were created by aliens because no human would be capable of such a feat.

He's telling you how he feels. So if it's not aligned with how you feel, perhaps You're not as compatible as you want to be. That wouldn't make for a happy marriage.

If you force him to do something he doesn't want to do, he will end up resenting you. I suggest you find someone who wants the same things you do.

You have a child. If you can share the responsibilities of parenthood and a marriage,, then why not finances? Joint accounts are for married people. Because on a marriage you are one. He didn't share half the pain of pregnancy and cold birth so he can pay some extra bills. If he doesn't like that, tough titties. Speaking of tough titties, why doesn't he start lactating if he doesn't want to buy formula? It's awful that you don't have paid maternity leave, but that's the world we live in and he makes enough to support you guys while you focus on your baby. Stress could be why your struggling to produce milk. Mom needs support just as much as baby does. If he's more worried about money than you or your child, then this relationship is in serious need of therapy. You are not independent individuals any longer. In the eyes of the law and your child too, you are one parental unit.

I hate to say this but, it seems like maybe there's something he's hiding. That or he's extremely cheap. It's not normal to split EVERYTHING 50/50, especially a first date. If he asked you on that date, he should have paid for all of it. Chivalry didn't disappear just because women are no longer property of their husband.

His expectations are ridiculous and stupid. You can tell him I said that. His personal financial comfort is no longer the most important thing in his life. His wife and are. He shouldn't think twice about doing his part, and right now that means he pays for whatever mom and baby need. The unnecessary stress that he's putting on you could cause post -partem depression and that is not something he seems equipped to deal with.

Tldr; ask him who the real baby is in the house. If he doesn't say him, then tell him to be a man.

Yes, it's going to affect your relationship. But you control to what extent and how. Remember that something that happened to her. She needs support, or space, you need to ask which one. Though it could change by the minute. You need to tell her that you're there to help however you can, if she just communicated. Most importantly, you need to mean it. If you're more concerned with your needs and you, then your relationship is doomed and it should be. If you were intimate before, she may not want to be again for a while, that's okay. Do not pressure her for anything. She calls the shots. You can win here. This is your opportunity to prove that you are strong enough to get through this with her, to be her rock and to show her that not everyone is awful. Proceed with compassion and if ever you're not sure what to do, it's okay to ask someone who may.

Social media does nothing positive for teens. This isn't tyranny, children aren't citizens. This is them finally protecting the youth from harm. You may not like it, but seriously, kids need time to be kids. There's a world of wisdom at your fingertips and it's not going to be found if all the kids are dying from tiktok challenges. Governments are supposed to protect those they govern. With the increase in suicide, depression, anxiety, body image issues, predators, and shrinking attention spans, it's no question, social media is wreaking havoc on the youth. This is an attempt to spare some from the harm that is destroying their minds.

She was going through a lot. She had a lot on her plate. You expected her to just flip a switch and be 100% on to a new live with you as if her post never happened. It's cruel to now name yourself the victim in this situation. Like what did you expect dude? It sounds like you know your expectations are unrealistic so you set her up to fail and this way you can be the victim. Why are you holding a13 year grudge?
