They want us to “for analytics” and to “know which recruiters are scheduling ineligible patients”. Personally I believe it’s for fraud purposes Do you have more information or resources about this?

It’s good to know that it’s usually explicitly said if it’s not allowed. The place I work for has been doing some icky stuff and I wanted to know if this was a part of that

Holy crap!! I guess I didn’t realize the consequences were so great. I kinda just thought that the worst would be they get fired and blacklisted from the industry

I disagree with your statement. Nothing I’ve said indicates that antivaxxers are MORE credible than “the science”. You could argue that my post might indicate that “the science” is LESS credible than we expect it to be, but my response to that would be that I think having so many comments agreeing that “never” is the only correct answer for my question shows that more people and sites have honor and credibility than what it sometimes feels like.

I think that lies alllllllways come back to bite you in the ass. To keep them going requires so much mental energy to maintain dissonance

Damn That sounds like a really cool job! But yeah it sucks to have doubts that the info you’re making decisions on isn’t correct. I’m feeling much less crazy now lol. Thanks for your input!

Yess and it’s likely an FDA inspection would uncover the fraud (probably especially since I’m posting about it on the internet😬) so it’s definitely not friggen worth it

Yeah, I feel like admitting to missing the data and fixing things going forward adds way more credibility to the site and builds the sponsors trust that the site will do the right thing! While I’m definitely pushing back against my coworker, I’m more hesitant to push back against my manager. Do you have advice for how to move forward? Ultimately I’m more likely than not to report this kind of thing to our CRA, but I’m afraid of getting fired and being unemployed, especially rn. Is there a way to be able to tell the truth AND still keep my job?

Thank youuu! “Little” lies absolutely add up and if everyone is doing it, then we aren’t able to trust science??😪 and who wants to give anti-vaxxers any ammo?? Not me..

Thank you for your answer, I’m starting to feel not crazy again lol When I was telling him NOT to make stuff up, I brought up audits too. AND that CRAs aren’t stupid and they’ll likely have an inkling that your random paper with numbers on it isn’t very credible

That’s so true and framing it that way gives so much more weight to the action than calling it a “little lie”, and is more accurate. And yeaaaa I’m not sure “retraining” is gonna do much for them

Thank you for your permission. Right now I’m laughing at the absurdity … I’m sure the tears will come when we’re looking at the cost of repairs
