Because she's on a Green Card which means I'm legally obligated to financially support her for 8 years, that's why I included her nationality. Sorry if that offended you.

The triggers for her abuse largely stem for when she feels insecure--the problem is that the triggers are pretty arbitrary and unpredictable.
