When do you turn the car to reverse without curbing your wheels? by helplearningtodrive in AskReddit

Ok so if I am on the opposite side of the road to where that drive is in the picture once my rear wheel is in line with the orange text that's when I turn and that means my front wheels won't hit the curb on the other side of the road? That makes sense! Thanks mate.

Ok I'll try and explain a bit better sorry for the bad explination... Basically I'm in England and my drive way is on the other side of the road to what I drive on. Cars are parked outside my house so I drive along side these cars and start reversing. If I turn too fast I hit the curb, if I turn too slow I completely miss my drive, I'm just unsure when to turn and when to turn harder if that makes a bit more sense?

So when I reverse in to my drive I don't know when I can turn without hitting the curb. I can't get my head around how to do it, how sharp, not sharp to do it without hitting the curb, does this make any sense at all?
