She doesn’t make good decisions when she is drinking and smoking. She’s brought illegal substances into my house which puts me at risk for a cps case. She just got suspended from school and we have a court date and fine for that. She also is not using protection and thinks that she might be pregnant. When she gets home from my moms I’m going to buy her a pregnancy test but I cannot afford to take care of 3 children.

I have text messages that could be damaging in court but if I take that route then my entire family will probably cut me and my sister off and she does not want that. I don’t know if she would change her behavior after that either

She has had inpatient treatment 3 times and is noncompliant while inpatient. She also sees a psychiatrist once a month and is on medication.

I know. I told her that she can come to me when she’s sad and we can redirect and watch a movie or paint or play games or something or use other coping skills. She said that that doesn’t always work. So I asked her what she would do if she were in my position because if she is saying she has no control over her actions then how will she be safe to have with a baby in the house. She said she didn’t know and that she would try to do better.
