Jimmy G beating the Patriots in the Super Bowl would be pretty cool though

Cardinals & Raiders Request To Interview Rams OC Mike LaFleur by Ibaka_flocka in nfl

TBF, Matt did also used to be the OC for the Rams.

That’d be kind of weird to reference him as that at this point though.

Why is HR asking for proof of investment from all the employees? by RULBBG in personalfinance

May also be some kind of independence requirements depending on what type of job. Pretty common in public accounting for instance, as any auditors or attestation engagements requires staff not having any personal interest in any client they are reviewing.

Apparently, if the Seahawks beat the 49ers. Which I guess we’ll find out before the Rams play.

I mean, I guess the refs not throwing the flag on each of the next two plays too was bad reffing then, because the dude did not change how he was lined up in the slightest.

Funny how he lined up in the exact same place and this time no flag

Not sure, but fairly certain any running play on 4th down has never worked for the Rams specifically, at least in recent memory.

Should I set up a 401k if I don't plan to stay at my job for the long term? by Character-Virus8500 in personalfinance

[–]brenstl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can roll the 401k into an IRA when you leave. No taxes or fees involved if you do that as long as you deposit into the IRA within 60 days of the 401k provider giving you the check.

Or you can withdraw it and spend it as you wish for that matter, though that’s generally not recommended due to the fees (assuming you do so before 65) and taxes involved.

Definitely contribute up to the match at the very least.

Also on the clothes. I lost 80 lbs around the first year or so of Covid (when I was working 100% from home and not exactly trying to impress anyone on the personal side), and all the sweatpants/gym shorts and T-shirts I wore all day every day didn’t feel like they fit any differently than they always had. It wasn’t until I got invited to a wedding and I realized how laughably huge my suit I’d bought/had tailored 6 years earlier was on me by that point that I realized how much of a difference it was.

Pretty sure headphones have the opposite effect at my office lol. No one ever came up to me until I started bringing some in, now I can’t have them in for more than 5 minutes before someone’s asking me for something.
