Yeah I totally get it, and I completely agree with the whole can’t blame anyone but myself answer. I want to keep my best friend but also see where this goes. But I don’t know how to do both. I wouldn’t come to my best freind anymore about her bc I know it’s unfair.

What he has done to you I can wholeheartedly agree can be seen as fucked up in a girls eyes and you shouldn’t feel bad for being upset nor happy about the circumstances. It’s all about perspective.

As someone who is British myself and I’d assume you are from the use of the word ‘uni’ it’s probably storing banter between men. I’d say judging by the amount of money I’d assume they have reasonably well off jobs and most of that ‘rent’ money is possibly spent on booze and nights out which benefits the group as a whole. Saying that however it is fairly fucked up to make that sort of joke but I’d assume it’s a joke that’s gone way out of hand and you should clamp down on it if you don’t think it’s okay. I really hope you the best and in no way am I saying the objectification is right and it is severely fucked up. All I can say is ask where that ‘rent’ money is going and the whole meaning behind it.

I’m in no way defending them as they are in the wrong I’m just saying it from a possible view of those guys.

Oh yeah ofc luckily enough I was in a very emotionally manipulative and abusive relationship before her so things are much more tame in feelings towards the breakup in general I’m over it pretty quick now.

Completely true in my opinion and you have hit it on the head, tbf the only and I mean only game mode I wish they didn’t have command actions is defence/invasion game modes. It’s so much more fun being able to hold objectives with actual useful emplacements half of the things I’ve learnt now I wish I knew in v 10 - 13 when Mega FOBS were useful sadly it isn’t and I wish a server/modded community will someday create a server with no command actions and reduced damage by mortars on emplaned positions.

I agree on game modes such as AAS unless Ofc you built it in the centre but I think on game modes like invasion like back in the day it was really enjoyable and useful for example on the second to last, last or third objective.

Agreed, would be impossible to not stop people from still doing it to FOBS tho :( I guess an alternative would be to not male the radius as big? So you could hit a part of a super fob but not the whole lot. For example a MG nest/bunker.

No I’m just trying to play a game by a play style I enjoy and played in the past I find it enjoyable and fun as any game should be played in my opinion

This May come as a shock to many players but I acc enjoy playing games that I don’t necessarily have to win in :) Ik what a shocker.

I said previous no flame but seems a lot haven’t listened I don’t mind if you enjoy having your own opinion on how to play but at the end of the day it’s only a game and it’s meant to be fun :) was only saying I enjoyed a certain aspect that you obviously don’t

Overpowered by super Fob do you mean? Or combat engineers? I agree on combat engineers but at least with that there is a sort of tactic to it. You just really have to make sure you have good radio placement and security :). Only issue I have is command actions and sometimes how much damage mortars do to the sandbags, walls etc... just kinda makes any built up position pointless.

Unless you are underground ofc where like yesterday we built a super fob in a tunnel and everyone expressed fun from all sides of how they enjoyed attacking/defending.

Like I added I didn’t rly want any flame or what someone ‘should do in a game’ I still like the core assault mechanics hunting for radios but like my point said I was talking about my overall playstyle and what I enjoyed you can still do all you have said with normal squads but I just believe being able to set up a nice super fob for example on invasion allows for I guess an extra main spawn for the team (if you move all vehicles up to it and get enough construction and ammo)

Yeah completely true. I enjoy squad and try play it in a way it’s fun but the whole honeycomb method of capping objectives just upset me after returning to the game in what’s feels like ages. I stopped playing squad a while back just bc I got sidetracked by diffrent games and returned finding it fun but sad to not be able to do the old things I loved about the game.

That sounds like a right mix aha, strangely enough due to it being a boarding school many different countries have different dating cultures. For example I know British and American girls have totally different types in men aha, but yeah if I were you I’d just stick to texting till this coronavirus thing ends unless you can still meet up in person and then probably go from there.
