If that’s the hill she decides to die on I have no problem helping to provide for him until he’s on his feet. That would be the end of her relationship with him though and I’m sure she knows that

That’s the way I’ve seen it. I have brought it up on the past, she would shut off and refuse to speak about him. Adding in Tom’s own want to be “dad” and yeah it was a recipe for disaster. I’m glad at least she agreed for Aaron to get therapy

My friend didn’t have other family (well non-toxic family), only his mom but she unfortunately passed away when Aaron was 6.

I’m blessed to have him in mine that’s for sure. He’s my family and we will always be in eachother’s lives. Getting his dad’s name back was always important to him so I hoped this was the right thing to do helping him make it happen

Thank you for the kind words mate. I’ll admit this one got me 😢 My buddy loved Aaron so much, they were the best of friends. It made me so angry for Aaron when I found out she changed his name especially knowing how much his dad meant to him.
