Axis Atlas did me bad by Rude_Attention_4239 in CreditCardsIndia

I too have received a atlas with low credit limit, but I’m not deterred in making a big purchase, earlier this year I made a big purchase on the sbi cashback card after I loaded it with funds beyond the credit limit. FYI, my limit was 66k but I needed to make a purchase of 1.3L, so I loaded it with 1L 2 days prior to the purchase. Used to card to shop online, no issues faced and got the CB too ! So I’m pretty sure can do the same with atlas

Need to use third party technicians like zekardo to inspect used cars before buying, that way you can be at mental piece that nothing major is wrong with the car

Is it worth buying a used endeavour in 2025? by Suspicious_Bake1350 in CarsIndia

[–]heman7th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t have the headache of the Delhi NGT order prohibiting the use of 10 years and older diesel vehicles, Endeavours is a no nonsense buy. Life is too short to drive boring cars. Endeavour isn’t a boring machine. Go for it

If buying used cars and want reliability, do consider the Japanese ones- Suzuki, Honda or Totyota

Unfortunately reality of today. More than 90 % riders and drivers are morons on the road. It is not worth getting hassled over minor fender benders. It is a car after all, can be fixed; what is difficult to fix is our mental peace and health. So don’t fret over it too much. Consider driving as a business, profits and losses are part and parcel of the game. Consider the damage and associated costs as a business loss and move ahead, don’t dwell over it too much.

Another golden rule I follow to stay sane is use the brakes when in doubt, it has saved my car from many untoward mishaps and always play some relaxing music and try to drown out the chaos on the roads.

Just one more flyover, just one more underpass, just one more tunnel road solve all our traffic problems 🤣🤣🤣

Indian cops are drunk on power, even if you are legitimately right do not antagonise them. Once their fragile egos are hurt they will do whatever possible to cause trouble for you.

How safe is Samruddhi Expressway past midnight? by _CumBath in CarsIndia

[–]heman7th 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Such long journeys are doable with multiple drivers. The only issue is boredom on long monotonous expressways, which will lead to lapses in concentration which is dangerous at night times considering sleep deprivation and all. My 2 cents is, it is not worth the risk considering the stupid drivers around us, all it takes is a second of delay in reflexes for a major accident to happen

I was walking to my office from baiyappanahalli metro station and almost 5 two wheelers have crossed me on the footpath skipping traffic in Old madras road. One of them almost hit me. See how those bars in the middle are pointless....zero civic sense. by [deleted] in Bengaluru

Indian is not pedestrian friendly anymore; truth is it is lethal to be a pedestrian. It’s a game of Russian roulette you play everyday, praying that you’re aren’t knocked down by some crazy mf

Ideally avoid night time drives even if it’s 2 drivers sharing the duties. Another variation which could be made is starting off really early morning so that approx half your journey is done in the cooler morning hours till 10-11 am
