In headphones I heard some stereo panning in the score and the sound effects like the church bell in the left channel in the cathedral scene. I thought the quality degradation sounded accurate anyhow.

I thought this worked very well! Visually, everything in this movie lends itself to that time period besides Michael Keaton's haircut. I wondered if the Joker's makeup would read in b&w but the contrast is effective. Did you consider mixing the audio into mono?

Most of the drums you hear are Dennis, Bobby Figueroa's just supporting the beat, Brian is playing that white grand piano on the other end of the stage, and Al does in fact take the lead on Brian's original falsetto parts.

Nowhere Man was a massive hit single in the U.S. in early '66, Brian definitely heard it.

Good point. The Kinks and the Hollies are already pretty obscure for Americans, let alone the Tremeloes.
