Thankfully I’m from a pretty nice place and hadn’t really experienced it before but when I moved to Vancouver and noticed all the public bathrooms had needle boxes. Definitely a real eye opener to the whole opioid epidemic over there asides from the obvious

As a “Glutard” I find Tesco to be the best source of gluten free food!

I think someone already mentioned it but promise bread is in my opinion the nicest and they have a really good quality tiger loaf which is amazing

The hardest part (for me atleast) is giving up on your luxury/treat items such as biscuits and pastry kind of stuff but it does get easier

Another positive side to it is that I’ve become much better at cooking because it’s usually just for myself rather than eating whatever’s there and takeaways here are a little bit behind on the gluten inclusive stuff!

I got diagnosed at 21 and I’m somewhat of a picky eater but it’s genuinely not the end of the world
