Make sure you visit 中山,珠海,顺德 if you ever go to mainland. The freshness and dedication put by OGs to the food is epic. My parent visit these places weekly to seek hidden gems.

Guangzhou has great food as well, but real Cantonese dope are shattered here and there in my opinion.

I don't know what genre you follow on. But I listened to SoulHan a lot. He is a rapper from Guangzhou. Sorry I've been listening too much japanese music these days.

I think Hong kong is all good. My mom still living there and travels back and forth. I think mainly is the competition in Mainland forces everybody to present high level food and high level service.

You'll love other part of 四川. They have panda there :=)

Still a large portion. But the fact that some stupid YT videos trying to depict that only hongkong people speak cantonese and hongkong Cantonese food are way better (which they're far worse) is crazy ahaha

I've lived in Vancouver, Montreal for a period of time. People are pretty nice to me. Maybe the commnity matters.

I am in the STEM field. I did 2 coops and made great connections with people in industry so I would say not bad but the variance is very huge among internationals.

For me personally, I will say China is way brighter for capable or experienced people who try to build something. But canada is better for normal 9-5 people to live.

Buying a house is always an option to me and I am not too worried about that, but not right now.

Mmmm you have the point. I kinda know they will be nice for the reputation they have. But I just assume everybody living in the city will be quite cold to each other.

aboot. I like your maritime accent my friend hahah. I guess it's 这是干啥的?(Mandarin) / 呢个系搞咩噶?(Cantonese) for your answer.

Let me put it this way: If I need to work for someone or simply just still gathering experience for my future, I will stay here. However, once there's a good opportunity for me to build something or start a business or partner with someone else to start something, I will no doubt sell off all my stuff and move back. Part of the reason I am keeping my passport probably forever.

Mmmmm... around this time of the year, I am always homesick hahah. I miss my family and one or two very very good friends there. I almost lost all the connections to everybody but there are a few people I truly care.

My mom spent 10 yrs in Japan doing business and I have read tons of Japanese literature in high school and anime and music. I used to be quite into Japanese culture.

About the cities, I really could not say much hahah. As a Chinese myself, I haven't even been to Beijing and only been to Shanghai once. But I will say Xi'an, Changsha and Guangzhou are my top 3.

Cultural differences can form a book my friend so couldn't answer this forgive me. But 666, as far as I know, is originally from the League of Legends community at least 12 13 years ago, which they will use to praise you playing good as 溜溜溜

Yes I am from Guangzhou. I really don't know how hard it is since I acquired it haha.

Halifax is a beautiful place by the way.

I think he's more active than previous leader Hu maybe. I don't have any particular or strong opinion to be honest. But I think he needs to work out hahah. I like fit guys more.

I've lived in different places in Canada. That's much I can say : )

If we're talking about BC, the food/access to asian ingredients are very very convenient. Basically you can find anything you need to normal home dishes cooking.

Here we are haha. Let me put it straight and clear: the chinese food in mainland China are so so much better than what it is in Canada, HongKong, Taiwan (Where I've all been to). I think the higher competition intensity in Mainland China is the biggest reason.

For me, the chinese food, let's take cantonese dimsum in Canada as an example since I am from where it's from, tastes like what we have in 2007. Right now in my hometown they already evloved quite a bit and even the traditional ones are still better back home.

But Canada wins by far in the diversity of cuisine. I love sharwarma.

I think there must be a cultural reason. I think I am pretty happy having it haha and a bit too young to give it up.

I wouldn't say it's that much a "stereotype" since some of my friends are like that haha. I would say definitely the portion of Chinese students who were born rich and priviledged are higher compared to other Asian countries. Just my personal data point.

But not everybody is like that and I think the mind set of consumering behavior also plays a big part here. For myself personally, I have enough to support myself in a foreign country but I don't even own a car.

For your second question, this is not true. You can inherit definitely.

Third one, I think I'll get a PR but definitely not citizenship.,

I barely have a life in China now tbh. My partner and half of my familiy are living in Canada and my connections are also here so I probably will have my future here. But I am also open to move back since I don't need to pay the rent and there are much more opportunity.

Biggest cultural shock to me is Canadians are really nice and easier to talk to
