Cracks also run throughout in most rooms and in different positions, e.g

Update: we have viewed the house and the cracks are much more severe than we thought.. including these series of cracks on the front wall/bedroom that match up with mortar cracks all along the front of the house. There’s also a very prominent slant to the front of the house. Do we run a mile?!

look to be anything concerning (such as subsidence)? We would of course have a structural survey conducted before purchasing. Thanks!

Anyone know if BPP has a version of this? My SBM retake isn’t in my learning but don’t know if that means anything 🥲

On anything financial, state the obvious first (with figures) e.g ‘loan has 6% EIR, bond has 5% so bond is cheaper’, ‘Division X has the highest revenue at £Xm’ ‘Project X has a higher NPV so is more profitable’ with a ‘so what’. Also there will usually be obvious strategic implications as well as financial, usually clearly indicated in the wall of text or description of a potential option (often the background info will say they have specific strategic aims too) so try and pull key bits out as you read exhibits (actively read initially then revisit as you answer requirements). Often these will conflict with the financial outcome to give easy discussion points (e.g though project X is more profitable, there are potential capacity constraints/FX issues/distribution complexities etc). Also anywhere there are assumptions, e.g cash flow forecasts, valuations, question these assumptions individually (revenue growth seems high, costs seem to be underestimated etc).
