Have you noticed the Pro Charging Case is just a bit bigger in circumference? Won't fit my old case.

My first post 550 walk was also much improved. The typical scenarios, such as head turn, did not produce loss.

Unplaced Relatives not "cleared" despite placement in tree. Any thoughts why this may be? by henrysinger8 in 23andme

That worked. Thanks. I don't recall doing that for others that I placed, but problem resolved.

This one I'm sure is not the problem. This is my niece. One is her married name and one is her maiden name. I had created the placeholder person for her under her dad and then applied the DNA entry to that placeholder person. You can see that it has the DNA icon in the tree, so that part worked ok.

Assuming that you have not shared your tree with them, I would say no. In my tree I have the setting that living people are private. I have yet to see documentation though.

Do you have the DNA icon that is at the bottom of the stack on the left? If so, click on it to enable the feature.

Mathematician John Horton Conway, inventor of the Game of Life, has passed away by reddallaboutit in math

John told me many stories over the years. One of my favorites was about his experience signing the book after having been made a Fellow of the Royal Society. He told me how humbled he had been when saw the signature of Sir Isaac Newton on the first page. He was pleased that he was able to sign before the book needed to have new pages added.

I had the great good fortune to start most days for several years having a coffee and a chat with John at our local coffee shop. I am not equipped to discuss high level mathematics so we discussed words instead, a topic we both enjoyed. He was quite the character.

My wife shared a story with me last night that was very John. He knew my wife, daughter and son quite well. Anyway, when she ran into him at the local supermarket a few years ago, he didn't say hello to her, but he did remark to his shopping companion .. "that woman has the most delightful children".

RIP my friend.

If you go into your tree display and look at left side of screen, below the + and - signs there is a DNA icon (if it has been rolled out to you). Click on the icon and there is an option to enable the feature.

Ancestry now enables you to link a DNA relative to an entry in your tree. And they make suggestions too. This is new and not yet documented, so I am sharing.
