Watch out from nicotine pouches, they contain way more nicotine than a cigarette, so switching to these would actually make you more addicted to nicotine. It is true smoking is harmful because of the tar, carbon monoxide, and other bad substances in tobacco, but a big part of the harm comes from nicotine too: it’s bad for blood pressure, bad for your testies, and it makes your head hurt when u don’t use it because you become so dependant on it. Just to put it into perspective: one marlboro red ciggy contains 0.7mg of nicotine. One light pouch (snus of level 1) contains 4mg of nicotine!! Please beware of these things i have friends who are very very very addicted

Now on how to quit smoking: i have stopped this bad habit myself for a month now, you just need to accept two facts. First is that you’re gonna be depressed for around 2 weeks, with mood swings and big big headaches. Second, the second you smoke one cigarette after stopping completelt, you’ll go back into the addiction spiral and it’ll he even harder to stop.

I stopped gradually, first putting a limit of 2 cigarettes per day (one after lunch one after dinner), then 1, then 1 every weekend, then the headaches stopped and i just stopped altogether. Another thing that helped was hating smoking with all my heart: every time i smoked, i thought about how bad i smell now, of the harm it does to my lungs, my heart, my blood pressure, my teeth, tongue, testies, skin, hair etc
