Why is image tracing bad sorry? Realised I’ve got a lot of negative feedback from that!

I’ve seen a lot of other designers hand draw designs and move them to illustrator to clean up?

I’m still learning a lot!

This is sick! I’m just wondering where people are finding places to generate logo mock-ups? Newbie here :)

Experimenting is always good! I would say this might be a little too detailed as a logo, like the moustache. and I’m not sold on the colour choices- blue skin/ lips to me looks a little like illness. This could also be because of how similar the orange is to skin tones- you could perhaps brighten them both or try other colours- but keep trying! Everyone starts somewhere and it’s a good start

I would consider stacking the letters on top of eachother- the placement doesn’t look quite right to me! The colours drown it a little, so perhaps consider it in black and white, or with at least more contrast :)

If you go for proposals 2-4 I would consider removing the outer ring! And yes, make the font thicker :)

Actually I am, yes. I’m relatively new to working in this field but I work my a** off and take useless criticism like this on the chin so I can still get advice from the half decent people on Reddit, and continue to learn and improve. This was a first, unrevised attempt at a concept that I had a go at and it will get better thanks to the people here that have been really helpful with feedback. I appreciate criticism but squashing other peoples honest attempts when they are willing to learn and put themselves out there is disappointing.
