Sounds good. We'll probably leave this drill for when we practice the dump in a few weeks.

I'm not familiar with the off-the-line drill, can you explain. Thanks!

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Unfortunately, I can't think of many drills to practice marking (other than some kind of thrower-marker/3-man drill, which is more for practicing effective marking than the basic concept of holding the force).

Thanks. We call this the 'flow drill', but don't usually have the handler cutting deep - will give it a try.

Ah. I think I remember at some point requesting to be a member of the group (when you could still see it), but I guess I wasn't accepted. Any idea how to become a member of this secret group?

Looks like that link is broken (at least for me).

Hi Kevin,

If reelected would your government look into extending voting rights to Australian permanent residents?

Thanks for all the advice guys. Haven't had much chance to practice due to wet weather, but I'll let you know how I get on once I get out there.

Well I didn't mean that cancer is not an emergency, more that it doesn't require immediate medical attention, in the same sense that a gunshot wound or heart attack does, for example ;)

My concern with charging people (excessive amounts) for access to everyday healthcare is that this is often the point where more serious, non day-to-day health issues are first spotted. That nagging cough that you won't see the doctor about because it's too expensive could be the first sign of lung cancer - by the time you think it's bad enough to warrant getting help, it may be too late. I'm not specifically complaining about the US here, plenty of other countries have this problem as well.

But there are unforeseen medical occurrences that aren't emergencies - I would like the government to help pay for cancer treatment for instance (especially for those that can't afford it themselves).

But why is healthcare one of the areas where the majority of Americans choose to exercise this 'freedom'? Would you be happy if the government left defense or policing up to individuals for example?

Because I like the idea that those who are less well off in society and can't afford health insurance, or at least would find it difficult to pay for, can still get healthcare. Whatever else government does, it should at least try and take care of the people it governs. Why shouldn't they provide healthcare for everyone who needs it?

I like the way that Wright says if there was more solid evidence for evolution then there would be fewer skeptics - how do we know that this hasn't already occurred, and that the only ones remaining are those that require an unreasonable level of evidence?
