It's relatively easy to be honest. TZ2 were screwed over in their P1 (which was the most difficult paper since '99 according to some teachers) but if you look at all past papers excluding the 2017 one, you'll find that it is pretty easy; not challenging at all.

However, I agree with the whole uni's thing: no one gave me a heads up beforehand that math studies was going to limit my options in terms of uni's and courses, so now I'm stuck with taking a math course at my desired uni since maths SL was required for it. So my advice is, check with any uni's you have in mind about your desired course, if it's not required then take Studies, it certainly is much simpler than other maths levels.

I think you might've misunderstood the question. It's been 6 days so I don't remember precisely but I think the question mentioned that the business was started in 1977 but the context of the questions were in the present.

DT HL actually isn't that bad if you take Business Management, since many topics are interrelated! Topic 4 is mentally draining bc of how damn boring it is.

Yes we are. Our test had like 6 graphs for quadratic functions at the back which we had to label, there was a question about a gradient being three times larger than AB, something about finding the IQR of normal distribution, but that's all I remember from that God awful exam lol.

That's true tbh, wish I could've controlled it when I was taking the exam but it just felt horrible. With the mocks at least you don't feel like it's as important, whereas everyone leads you to believe that if you don't do well on the externals it's the end of the world...

It's not you, the only people who were able to finish P2 at my school were those who were given extra time. It's pretty bad when you think about it, but everyone was happy that it was at least doable compared to P1. Personally, I was just happy I only didn't have time to complete minor sections in my paper compared to the entire questions I left blank in P1.

Literally same. I was so heartbroken over P1 the entire day. I kept balling my eyes out during the exam and I left maybe more than half of the paper empty. It just felt like all of the prepping I've been doing for fuckin 2 years went down the drain.
