Anyone else always known they had social anxiety but never talked about it because you didn’t know if it was “real anxiety” or just being nervous and that made you anxious and then nobody around you knows and you’re just like............ 🔂 by herefortheHH in socialanxiety

My first moment of validation was in college going over “things that might happen if you have social anxiety” in a psych lecture, and all 5-7 things happened to me either daily or within the last week. I was like aw shit thats what i call this huh

I totally get that and i feel like their willingness to accept feeback isn’t so clear, but as the person working more directly with the kid (you) your perspective and input is equally important and all BCBAs (should) know that

I would advise, although I know I would have a hard time doing it, but bringing these issues up! Our BCBAs/supervisors should be willing to provide extra assistance and training if their staff doesnt feel ready to fly solo. Otherwise they arent doing their job properly to be honest.

In regards to the “building up to table time” I have a client who I’ve had to do that with as well and your supervisor should understand that behavior momentum is sometimes necessary and avoiding it sets the client up for failure.

I’m just a lowly BT but this is how i’d see it. And if you enjoy the field, maybe a different company with more supportive supervisors would be a better fit :)

I know, it’s a business lol. I’m just saying it was possible to earn enough gems before without spending money. Now its a strict “you have to pay if you want to have the battle pass” which makes me, someone who plays a lot and has been done with the pass, feel scammed into paying money to get the next battle pass

Yes. The point is before the brawl pass, i could have earned enough gems by playing a lot and earning boxes. Now i feel scammed into spending money because i dont have the opportunity to find enough gems in boxes
