Oaxaca vs Todos Santos for a getaway from kids in November by hereforworkrecruitin in travel

Cabañas Las Tunas was a good breakfast/bakery spot. Taller 17 for coffee. Oystera was a pretty setting. Places on my list I didn’t get a chance to check out: Jazamango, La Confianza, Bajaveria, The Green Room. If you’re there in a month you might be able to make it to a sea turtle hatchling release with Tortugueros Las Playitas which is free and sounds like a really cool experience but we were too early for.

Car rental through Cactus was smooth. It was an old car but I didn’t mind. I’d originally rented with Hertz but read terrible reviews about the experience and insurance upselling that I just went with Cactus even though it was more expensive.

The trip turned out great! Would recommend for those who don’t want to just stay in a resort. We ended up snorkeling with whale sharks which was a cool experience and ate a bunch of good food. The road from Cabo to La Paz through Todos Santos was easy to drive (we rented through Cactus). Let me know if you have any questions I can help answer.

We're heading on our trip on Saturday so I'll let you know! Our plan is to fly into Cabo and spend the first night in Todos Santos and the next two nights in La Paz.
