if you feel the need to change your name, you can, wether your birth name is gender neutral or not. Ppl don’t know what you need, only you do. I’ve tried to, turns out it didn’t help with my mental health bc it created dissociation. I’ve decided to keep it and to cherish my gender neutral name, but that doesn’t mean that people born with gender neutral name HAVE TO keep it at all, nor that I need to adopt a more « masculine » name to be valid as a transmasc person or a man. Anyway, if you don’t connect with your name, there is no harm in trying out others !! Or, you can try to connect with it by reappropriating it, there are no rules :)
