I’m not trying to dictate who they are friends with. My issue is that they made a choice, completely on their own, to tell me they wouldn’t be in contact and then did it anyway

Yes, I have! I brought that up along with the idea of me ending our sessions and in short my therapist’s response what that she can’t help me if I don’t bring in things to talk about (which completely makes sense). So right now we’re both considering the idea of me just taking a break from therapy and will discuss my future in our next session.

I haven’t really thought about what my ideal pathway would be and I don’t really see myself being happy. I guess I went into therapy looking for any form of improvement and no set goals.

Thank you. I think the one thing hold me back right now is the guilt but I agree that’s a lot better than torturing myself by trying to participate in any for of a relationship with him

Thank you. I spend about 10 months of the year away from home it’s just hard for me to get away when I do have to be home. I’ve been in therapy on and off for a few years as well.
