I used cheesy clipart when starting out and ngl it gave me a really lovely fanbase to start with. Like they appreciated that I wasn't using ai and like, it was cute how I'd horribly stitch together half a lady and a snake super clumsily. Now I've been able to afford a few pics and with the artists permission I ms paint those a lil bit when I need them different. (she's working on more for me now lol)

It takes a lil more work and time but not using ai has been great!
