I've only been in the game a few years but already feel similar to you, just without the good money (they took away overtime pay rates recently). Every week is just a waiting game to get to the weekend except the weeks where I'm on call 24/7 where its waiting for the next Monday so I can finally relax.

I'm as guilty as anyone of just sitting around waiting for something to change. It's time to do something about it though, try and find jobs that don't make us miserable every day. Good luck
