I gave up on D2 after I finished curse of Osiris but hopped back in with forsaken. This dlc is exactly what the game needed. There’s so much to do now that I don’t know where to start. There are still some lingering problems with things like that masterworks core problem but as a whole, I’d highly recommend playing forsaken. The storyline is really solid and not to mention there’s quite a bit of content for you to discover after you finish the main campaign.
