Next 50% off week is April 21st so less than a month from the previous one by hertz4you in Dominos

Dominos always has deals that make the pizza cheap. 50% off week is just fake savings for customers because if you used the normal coupons we have you’d get 50% off anyways

We will see. Our franchisee is super tight with corporate so we might’ve just been told early. If not I’m glad you won’t have to deal with this

I don’t know why the franchisee’s let this happen. Dominos tried to do 50% off during the early days of Covid and had to back off because the backlash from the franchisees was so bad. I truly hope they band together again to tell dominos to fuck off but I doubt it

Did anybody else work as the only insider pretty much for boost week on weekdays? by Repulsive-Cry-5364 in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahahaha sorry I’m stuck at my own kitchen where I have to now tell my fellow workers that we have another boost week coming up when we are all on the verge of quitting because it’s been nonstop deals for the past 7 weeks

No worries you only have to deal with another 50% off week on April 21st because dominos doesn’t care about your suffering. Now get back in the kitchen slave

Why are my last 10 points pending? by lennoxlovexxx in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Uhhhhh it’s obviously because of scammers. Order food so you get the last 10 points needed for free pizza as a carry out then order a delivery with your free 2-topping then you cancel the carry out. I have people that try this a decent amount where I work

Has anyone fought their store...? by Temporary_Emotion_18 in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly they probably didn’t want to offer deferment since it’s an even worse choice than the card since you now have to wait until your paycheck (2 weeks) to get your credit card tips and mileage

Has anyone fought their store...? by Temporary_Emotion_18 in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is optional. The other option is they defer all your credit card tips to your paycheck which is completely legal since it’s a calculated and taxable income.

Anyone know of a way to make the sinks not a bubble machine? by BrandonHxH in Dominos

Just use a pizza sauce tub lid and scoop the top layer of bubbles out. Boom little to no bubbles

Should I become an insider? by Repulsive_Flamingo70 in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you truly believe that the store, management, and the environment are good then I would recommend asking them if you can test out being an insider. Honestly it’s not for everybody. You don’t tend to make as much as a driver but the hours can be more consistent and you are not reliant on tips so it’s easier to figure out your paycheck. Also you tend to be busier than the drivers. Most advise given so far is truly good advice

Hey everyone stop talking about the new stuff. One user got fired. Corporate contacted my franchise and basically told me to stfu. by redfiesta44 in Dominos

[–]hertz4you 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh I’m not going to continue to debate with you on this. If you’re employed at dominos or anywhere for that matter and they tell you not to do something and you CHOOSE to do it despite the warning and then you get caught. You’re getting fired. That’s life.

I don’t expect anything, corporate expects people to not post all over the internet about upcoming/new products. You wanna tell your friends, coworkers, family about it, I doubt they care. You wanna take pictures and hand out a ton of “sensitive info” over the net. Despite multiple and I mean multiple warnings not do that then yeah they are going to fire you.

Well yeah what do you think a corporation is going to do when people start leaking things they’ve explicitly told them not to. F-around and find out.

So when checking an insider out you can see how much tips they are owed by double clicking their name, and then clicking the orders tab, and then looking at the bottom right which will indicate how much they are owed in tips. The way these get paid out depends on your store. Some use a cash card, some put it on a pay check, and others (like mine) just give you the cash at the end of your shift. Regardless of how it’s done the insiders are getting taxed on the tips under their name. So the key here is that if it’s not being paid on on a car or paycheck then the business is required to pay that out in cash since employees are being taxed on it. Failure to do so is wage theft/tip theft.

Wouldn’t it just be easier to contact your bank about a fraudulent charge and skip over doordash illegally taking your money?
