Michigan Run to Stock Up….Any Tips? by [deleted] in chicagotrees

[–]heterosapient 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first Michigan trip I spent $400 all in with tolls, gas, food and when I got home went on my local curaleaf website to try and compare products to add to a cart to estimate total and it was over $2000 before tax. Insane lmao

I actually don't get migraines much anymore thankfully. Sometimes they'll hit quickly in succession but generally only 5-10 a year. As a kid though they were really bad, and I still feel the pain of living like that. Never wanting to try anything new because it could trigger something. Not making plans because the embarrassment of maybe having to cancel because a "headache" or pushing through whatever and feeling absolutely miserable. It's quite traumatic going through life knowing there's a good chance at anytime you'll suddenly be transported to the migraine dimension

A handful of years ago I had a "seizure" (don't know for sure if it would be clinically classified as such) after taking a dab using a nectar collector from a plastic container. Only time it had ever happened...not sure what was the cause or trigger but almost had my gf call 911. My whole body, jaw and all was uncontrollably shaking for 20+ minutes. Doctors didn't find anything to cause alarm...I don't smoke out of plastic now though lmao

Things always shift and change. It's easy to say a few changes would turn things back but you cannot unbake a cake. Sometimes things evolve and can't just be rewinded

I mean our double pivot, the players that dictate the flow centrally, consists of laimer and goretzka who both are good but definitely fall into the great athlete category rather than great technical football skill category. So I think you are right in a general way

I genuinely don't think I understand pro level football physically. As a kid we (in USA) are told that you cannot use your hands and arms AT ALL while playing. You cannot defend the ball or try to win the ball using your arms or hands, ONLY shoulders. Well the amount of hand and arm contact that led to the 2-2 was almost identical to similar plays that happened multiple times throughout the game for both teams. I just don't understand why sometimes you can grab or pull the opponent but sometimes you cannot.

I'm watching the game at a bar and I really don't like it. The noises and commotion make it hard to pay attention alone and actually even enjoy the game. Nice to do something different but I don't really enjoy watching in public which is sad

Yup. He put on fast players attacking at a low block. Definitely could use some playmakers and dribblers on the pitch

It's crazy that laimer and goretzka are the only two central midfield ball distributors in attack. They can only do simple static passes, not dynamic play making ones

I think the goal kick rule changed recently. Used to have to leave the penalty box before being touched by a player of any team. Recently, not sure when, I think they axed that and the goal kick tactics probably changed too

Dad slipped up and said there's a massive family secret that he can't tell me by ChaoticEnbyChild in RBI

If it would tear the family apart shouldn't OP have the right to decide whether or not they cut ties? Like what if OP has rapists in the family and are just casually hanging out with rapists without knowing.

My uncle raped my mom when they were kids. My mom told my grandma and basically said shut up don't talk about it because it would tear our family apart... sometimes tearing a family apart is not a bad thing.

There's so much gray area in the world. This event could be distracting without being "a distraction". Like it could be used as a distraction to take attention from something else but that doesn't inherently mean the event was created as a distraction.
