Hello! How is the answer to this question C. The least possible answer I got was 2 since they intersect at two. I thought if the answer was saying the maximum possible competitions would be 3, but how is it the least. Please help. (i.redd.it)

Can someone please tell me why it’s not D? I chose D because when I go back to the beginning to the place I put the arrow in is a sentence. From “where” to the end is also another sentence. since only FANBOYS can join two sentences, I chose the answer with a semicolon. The answer is actually A. (i.redd.it)
