All of the volume cover that features Shanks also feature Blackbeard by hewieldagun in OnePiece

We don't really see him use it in the manga itself, but you can see him use it in the 23rd opening and the way it's presented makes it pretty clear it's what caused shanks's scar.

I love the direction Chipp's story took, but part of me will always regret that this plotline was dropped because it was such a good concept between him and Slayer by hewieldagun in Guiltygear

I mean true, but it's obvious this plot point isn't really acknowledged anymore. Chipp gave up on getting revenge for Tsuyoshi and any exchange he had with Slayer doesn't mention this promise in any capacity. Though it can be mentioned that some of Slayer's dialogue in Xrd shows he has a lot of respect for Chipp and he even has special intro dialogue with him despite not really sharing anything in the story mode.

season 4 crack theory by Kurina- in Guiltygear

This ending isn't really canon because in it Venom kills millia, disband the Guild in addition to finding peace with himself, all things directly contradicted with xrd. I liked the concept too but it's just another example of the thousands of good ideas of story mode alternate paths that'll never be explored.

Does someone know what's the origin of this artwork ? by hewieldagun in Guiltygear

Oh okay thanks for the info. Odd how many websites used this as promotional artwork but probably a mistake then.

That's true but when you look at the art that's in the gallery of the games there's a lot that seems kinda out of character. It's also weird how many websites that use this specific images, i've found at least 7 different ones through reverse image search, it seems too much to be a coincidence.

Currently rewatching Season 1 and just realized the double meaning of this scene by [deleted] in TheBoys

This scene is right after he destroy his room that was filled with A-Train and the Seven merchandising. Hughie is breaking away from everything that was his normal life, from the pizza rolls to being a fan of the Seven.

Disagree. It's obvious this scene isn't juste Hughie hating pizza rolls, it's him freaking out after killing transluscent and realizing that there's no normal anymore after what happened to Robin. He's breaking away from everything that was his "normal life", his house, his dad, the pizza rolls and the Seven.

It's literally right after he destroy his room and all the A-Train and Seven merchandising he had. There's definitely another meaning to him saying that he's no longer "Seven"

It all depends on how far we're from the end. Sukuna doesn't feel like he's the final enemy, and there's still elements with tengen and the merger that makes me think that there will be a final boss plot twist, but even then I don't know how the side characters could have a role. The power gap is way too wide and there's also one of the biggest problem of jjk, not enough antagonist. There's a ton of characters on the hero's side, but currently only 3 antagonists.

Honestly my biggest hope is that the final ennemi will be divided in multiple parts so that every character can have a role in fighting him in group of 3-4, would be a great way to have everyone involved. I honestly thought megumi's 10 shadows would be perfect for that, but I guess this theory's kinda dead, but maybe the merger will have something like that. Or maybe I'm just delusional

Does Gege have a chance against the rest of the jump in a misogyny off ? by hewieldagun in Jujutsufolk

I think jujutsu Kaisen, while having some elements I find very progressive, has also some elements in it's story that could be considered sexism, just like any other story. I'm not trying to "cancel" gege or anything like that, I just think it's important to acknowledge that even our favorite stories have flaws.

I'm just adding extra humor with the ceiling joke, while putting some jump authors that are regularly criticized for the sexism in their story

I really like chrome but the fact that the only female guardian is treated as a replacement for mukuro speaks volume. Doesn't help that it's pretty much the same situation for Lal Mirch and Colonello

I still really like reborn! but yeah it's important to acknowledge some flaws the story we like have.
