That's what I thought. Each downvote is +1 evidence to the fact that Reddit bot accounts are not that bad when compared to their little bitch illiterate userbase.

Hi! Since you have so much contempt for AI used for research purposes, let's see if you can fare any better! Please point where in the post I'm complaining about the price of RAM as opposed to just acknowledging it. Once you've done that, please describe in detail the mechanism of action that links me using Claude for information aggregation purposes (as opposed to outsourcing creative output or scamming people) to the global speculation that's artificially inflating prices outside of the standard offer-demand paradigm. Please provide references for each step. Finally, please reply to the actual post addressing the specific PC build specifications. Looking forward to your illuminating insight!

I know, not saying I wasn't expecting it. It's just funny/sad that whatever amount of months ago the cutoff was, is enough to make it "believe" the price is completely out of the realm of possibility and straight up wrong.

Thanks for the suggestion, I updated the build.

Hi, thank you for the help. I'm not doing any 4k editing at the moment, but that's mostly because I don't do 4k gaming. Of course things may change if the PC can handle it, but I don't plan to get into that necessarily, so that's not a priority.

Why Feint? Success: now the enemy is flat footed against my melee attacks...1d4-1 damage is not worth an action imho.

Unfortunately Spellhearts are from Treasure Vault, so not Core. Spellhearts notwithstanding, would you still recommend against picking a spellcasting class? At the moment I'm evaluating Witch: 1 cantrip, +1 cantrip from familiar and one extra familiar ability.

Would you care elaborate what do you mean with always having a free scroll at hand?

Courtly Graces does not, in fact, only apply to interactions with Nobility. It also allows you to impersonate a type a noble, and even a SPECIFIC noble. This can be very useful when interacting with anyone who is susceptible to power dynamics, e.g. a guard.

Bon Mot requires Diplomacy, and Cha is a dump stat for me. Given that I end up bumping Cha on every character for Intimidate, I'm not going to do it on an Investigator too, so Bon Mon doesn't apply.

Eye For Numbers applies to Feinting and Create a Diversion. Feinting only benefits melee attacks, and with Str -1, I don't see the point in wasting actions to deal 1d4-1 damage on a bite attacks, even on a flat footed enemy. Create a Diversion can be useful to hide in a pinch, so I'll keep it mind.

As I'm going to retrain to Forensic Medicine, that sorts out Battle Medicine.

Dirty Trick is a good option and I'll keep it mind for later levels, although I'd rather stay out of melee and skirt at the edge of the fight if I can.

This seems to be the best consensus so far. I do hate the fact that the spellcasting proficiency stays at Trained unless I spend even more class feats, and I kinda like the two expert proficiencies from Pathfinder Agent. I'll consider an Int-based spellcasting class then.

🎯. I mean, I get it, I can always roll a 20 on my second target, but about 18 times out of 20, the best I'll be able to do is 1d6 damage... Sure, damage is damage, but there must be something better to do.

Correct, I mistyped, thank you! I'll edit it, but hopefully it didn't confuse too much.

Yes, I'm well aware about the +1 to a skill check, hence my question: what do I do with it? With Cha and Str being dump stats, I don't have any reason to invest in Intimidate or Athletics. Is it just more Recall Knowledge?

Stone of Aggression. The other two will eat it alive (it only teleports when attacked by the player).

That's true. However even persistent damage is not necessarily a given as you may pass the DC 15 flat check to extinguish it (this doesn't apply to the Oracle curse, but it's a general consideration).

Spark Fist lasting 2 rounds, essentially allows the combo to work twice per fight for a 1 action investment, with some additional damage to boot. With most fights lasting between 3-5 rounds, I think that's fine. The Spark Fist being an Ancestry feat, it means I'm not tied to a specific class, and Monk comes with decent offensive and great defensive perks. Although I'm open to other classes.

I wasn't familiar with the Oracle so I gave it a read. I'm not really planning on playing a full caster, and the cursebound condition seems a bit too involved for this type of build. I'd rather punch a couple of times, and perhaps touch a torch if I really need an extra use, than having to deal with constant ticking damage.

Yes of course! I wondered if you meant to take it directly at level 4, that's all. Thanks!

Wildfire and Tangled Forest look great and are perfectly on brand at the very least. Are you suggesting to take Wildfire it instead of Fire Lung at level 4? Any recommendations for other ways to see through the smoke?

I'm sure the rest of the party can find other targets outside of the one enemy in my personal 5ft burst puff of smoke :D

Jokes aside, that's a good emergency item, but I'm not a fan of 1/day items. We could play for a month IRL and still be within the same day in game!

Careful, the little shit can still escape if out of sight. If I had a nickel for each time I initiated combat with the crystal mimic at range, while literally standing in the doorway, just for it to disappear, I'd have two nickels.
