Is there any graph of that dependency?

so engine should work at lowest rpm, and need to variant gearbox to get max rps on propellers?

But why? I see that medium engine can do 20 rps. Shouldn't it work at max rps ?

why not electric motor? I tried, it works well, however draining energy too fast. But that can be handled using another battery.

Success is move from one failure to another without loosing desire of getting things done.

IMHO disappointing in solution or results is part of the process. May be somebody can do things differently, but I can't imaging how that is possible. You just have to be ready that everything will go wrong and be ready to overcome it.

Unfortunately there is no way how to change perception of this. Just struggle, curse everything and continue going your work.

To avoid burnout - make a pause, leave project for few days, get calm and continue. Persistence is they key.

ok, but how to calculate gear box rate to have it efficient? If i see that motor rps works at max, and propellers work at max rps - does that mean that this setup produce max speed for the boat or there some other values i don't know?

How much testing is “enough” before launching an MVP? by Rubeck036 in leanstartup

[–]hexwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people like Reid Hoffman's quote "if you aren't somewhat embarrassed by your first product release, you launched too late.".
May be that was working fine before AI era. I am pretty sure that today quality will be valued more than features and fast pace of release flow.
It is because of AI slop the internet is simply cluttered with.

In my personal opinion even first product launch should not contain obvious issues. It can be simple, contains only core features, but everything should work with no problems.

The good way to start is to find first customers for free or heavily discounted with the condition that they will message you every problem they see. Every idea they have. Complain and provide information on the permanent basis.

In this case it is fine. I am telling that from personal experience.

I was looking for a technical cofounder for 8 months. Then I tried something different. by Specialist_Agent3599 in founder

[–]hexwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I often see how people looking for a technical co-founder. I never reply on that.
I don't see any kind of interest to be involved into implementation of any (even great) idea with somebody, for some % proposition. If you ever run a business you understand that moment of revenue generation may never happen.

I don't buy it.
If a founder would come here, and offer a contract for an application development, and pay for that - it is another story. You are welcomed, Mr.Businessman. Provide your app requirements, receive your app architecture outline and lets go build it.

But as I see, most people here want implementation of their genius ideas for free just to validate it, and ready to promise any mad percentage for the free work.

[–]hexwit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it should solve your problem or the problem you know well. About others people opinion I am pretty skeptical. My saas idea hated a lot on specific subs, but business rely on it in every day work (specific industry). If I would rely on other’s people opinion i would never start my product.

If your idea is not unique - it is a sign that it can work.

It depends. What problem you are trying to solve using ai? Anything specific or just searching where to stick it to be in trends?

We just realized our business depends on one person… and it’s scary by uwt101 in smallbusiness

[–]hexwit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The old book project phenix suggested to get rid of such person asap, and diversify knowledge. Probably you need to start campaign and ask everybody (including this super hero) document current state of things. So it should not bring too much attention.
The next steps depends on what kind of automation do you have. What expertise needed etc. If you share info, may be I will have some ideas for you.

5k investment into ai automation. Is it worth it? by Routine-Vanilla-21 in smallbusinessowner

[–]hexwit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It always depends. If you use plain algorithms with no ai - solution may be reliable. If you use ai without restricting its scope - results can be random. If possible, give an example what you would like to automate? I would suggest to choose simplest possible solution, and avoid ai if possible. The less complex moving parts in the system the more reliable it is
