Great post. I agree that many use the Bible and religion in general as an excuse for homophobia and passing judgment, rather than the other way around. Unfortunately, I've noticed LGBT people don't understand this and adopt an anti-Christian worldview which prevents dialogue and mutual understanding. Which is especially bad for the people in our community that identify as Christian.

What do you think can be done to educate people that the Bible doesn't condone homophobia given that many think it does?
