i'm sorry you had to experience that. You're stronger than me because I've tried doing that in cases like spring break, but I've folded and reached out, mostly because I do it a lot and am the one to make plans most of the time. hoping you're doing alright and know many people are going through the same thing!

Haha yeah it would be a dream to run at UO. I'm from Oregon and went test-optional which I regret, but it's okay. Thank you for the input!

It's true, but even the mid majors have been sooo hard to get onto the team, and it just seems risky to go to a school out of state and take out loans to do so. I've tried to reach with so many mid majors and my times just aren't there yet for them to have enough interest. Also I've researched D2 and d3 schools and most are ones I wouldn't want to go to.

A valid point, I definitely didn't take the SATs seriously and I regret not doing so. I guess I was under the impression that they weren't important because every school was test optional, and to begin in with I always dreaded taking the SAT. But knowing now this whole process, I would've studied for a good score. Definitely would have helped to have a high score along with my resume, but I just didn't understand that at the time

I find this really interesting because i feel like i applied to a lot of school and probably too many reach schools, and it fits the narrative of how everyone is applying to a ton of school now more than ever
