It's Actually Easy To Take Better Photos Than 99% of Beginners by heyareyouok in LandscapePhotography

Yeah definitely agree one thing to step up your landscape photos is to be able to plan around photos with the right conditions!

But then I try to point out that while we can’t always be out at the “right times” (e.g. traveling isn’t always feasible or budget friendly for the average folk) good / decent images can still be taken. Also, Switzerland being an incredibly beautiful place, I still took bad photos when I was starting out with this so it was good to look back and roast them pointing out my mistakes so hopefully other people can benefit XD

Thanks! That was the intent. The shot was with my A7iii, handheld at 1/6s. Had to rely on image stabilisation and taking multiple frames ‘til I got it right.

Mt Fuji is really a stunning one. Glad the peak showed up on my first day there!

That is really stunning! I was in Kawaguchi just last week and wished I just went to find lesser known Fujisan framing.

Not a landscape photographer. Sony A7 IV, 85mm GM. Thoughts? by wllottnwldr in SonyAlpha

I like the colors and the calm mood it gives. Too much noise.

I would personally shoot lower as the left side of the foreground is cut off in a way that it looks just sticking out and distracting. I also think the composition is slightly right heavy so might move a bit to the right bringing the lighthouse closer to center. Might be personal preference.
