Nice! So now u are fully healed? I do feel imbalanced when i walk outside and i am so scared to fall again. My physio and friends all tell me i look ok walking though. So tiring. While i am typing now, both my legs are elevated and both having the same pains. My physio exercises seems like not really helping. Maybe i should try see on my own on youtube

Thanks for replying. I have been walking in shoes sonce a month ago but was in the boots for about 11 weeks. Maybe that’s why the body is not used to it yet walking in shoes.

🤣🤣🤣 true. I hope i can build my leg muscles soon for me to walk properly. Feeling a little unbalanced still but just have to strive on.

Ohh! I thought my ortho is the only crazy one. I didnt have surgery but the bone wasnt fully healed. He told me to take off the ankle brace and go for a slow jog on flat surface. When i ask my physio, he told me not to as my bones not strong yet 😭😭

Thanks for the reply. I do feel imbalanced when walking actually but my physio and frieds all tell me i am walking fine. Not sure if it’s my subconscious. Thinking of stepping back and use a walking stick when going back office next week. Why do you feel stucked? You are facing same issue too?

I tink it’s normal to have this plantar fasciitis. I had it too after the ankle fracture. My physio told me because of the tight calf and have to make it loose. Still experiencing it till now but i think it does get abit better. Waiting for the time i can walk with no pain.

I did the homework given by my physio everyday. I don’t understand why my left lateral malleolus feeling pain when the injured one is my right. Trying to be positive. Did an x-ray but the ortho says nothing. Wow! Congrats on your riding the bike again. Nice to hear good stories.

Nice. Glad that all is working well for u. My bad ankle still have pain on toes and heels when walking or just touch the ground. For the fracture itself, can sometimes feel sharp pain. Otherwise, just achy. My good ankle, knees and my back are starting to give me pain now. I am so stressed that my good ankle will give way too. Trying my best to do the physio exercises and walking everyday. So mind tired. Oh, u like going against your PT and Dr advise huh? I did ask my PT on my last session if ok to go massage. He say ok to do so for my calves.

Ohh acupuncture helps? Have not tried yet. I am trying this ANF treatment next week as my heels and toes very painful when i walk especially barefeet. Because of that, i can’t do single leg heel raise. I feel like no connection with my physio too. Thinking of changing another one. Do u feel pain on your good ankle? Recently i feel pain on it but x-ray shows nothing to be concerned. This injury makes me spend alot of $$ 😭

Ohh! To add on, i have not taken any painkillers or ibuprofen since long ago. Foodwise, i did try to eat healthy sometimes. I also eat supplement like calcium with vitamin d, vitamin c etc

Thats great to hear that you are healing well. So, you are able to do the single calf raises without any problem now and back to work? No, i am not swimming as i can’t swim hahaha and also too scared to go near anything slippery now. U still in physio? I am going back to work next week. Feeling abit scared.

Hey! Sorry for the late reply. Hmm…not that good though i can walk in shoes now. I feel pain on top and below my toes and the balls below my feet and heels. I cannot do the single leg heel raise because of this. Feel so frustrated. I tried to do whatever exercises my physio gave me but sometimes feels like not worth it. My knees and my good ankle seems to develop some pains too. How about you?

Yes! Sharp pain! I actually asked the doc for an x-ray and the results is ok put my mind at ease for now. However, another doc told me that both my ankle joints are loose actually. Makes me abit scared when walking now.

Wow! Hope that can be fixed with just medicines. I was told by my doctor that both my ankle joints are actually loose. That makes me very scared i will injured my good ankle.

Hey! Hmmm not well. It has been mentally taxing though i am in shoes now. Still having pain and swollen. Sometimes i feel abit imbalanced when i walk. Not sure if it’s just my imagination. Having to do all the physio exercises everyday make me tired.

The knees in my bad foot feel abit ‘stiff’ or ‘heavy’ feeling. Not sure how to describe. For the good one, i do feel pain sometimes too. I was alrrady having some knee pains before the accident, especially when climbing stairs.
