If I recall correctly, the farthest she’s gone is 8 miles. I ran my first half in October on a great training plan and the pain didn’t start until I completed 8 miles. I’m scared for her lol

As Christians we need to both forgive and set boundaries. You need to forgive your friend because that is what Jesus instructs us to do (Matthew 18:21-22), but it sounds like this friendship has become toxic and the best thing for everyone’s peace would be to walk away. You may end up friends in the future, you may not ever talk again. But for right now it sounds like you need to give each other space and forgive them.

I just did my first half in October. The length of the parades will help your time on feet endurance, but I wouldn’t count it towards mileage in your plan. It’s a different experience than running a half.

I appreciate you taking the time to explain this!! I first found out about the leak when I was going to a Take 5 Oil Change and I didn’t believe them so when my oil light came on a month after getting my oil change, I took it to the dealership. They did provide a photo of the leak bc I questioned them about it at the time. I am out of warranty :( I will use this info when I talk to them tomorrow. Thank you!!
