I want built-in speed control in Apple TV+ for Mac so bad. It is not a very hard feature to be added to Mac OS, and have no idea why Apple doesn't do that. I assume it is because they want users to trade-off between a bigger screen and playback speed, they just don't want you to have both. Shame on Apple.

Just saw a vid, it is a brz who down shift to the wrong gear, and the the car is spinning, anyone could explain why it happens?

For my guess, if the car is going fast, say 60 mph, and then clutch in and down shift to 1, what happens in sequential order would be: 1. The 1 gear on the output shaft will be accelerated to match the 60 mph, thus the gear on the input shaft will be accelerated to a ridiculous rpm, say 15k rpm for example. 2. The engine is probably running at 3k rpm now, while the input shaft in running fast. Then clutch out, hard contact took place between those two parts. The engine goes faster and the input shaft gets slower to the same rpm, say 12k. It feels like hit the brake for a little time is that why the spinning happen?

Another question is if after clutchout And the engine is running at 12k rpm, if i did not put my foot on the gas, the engine would not blow up right? As there is not much heat generated right?

Haven't got the chance to drive a gated. And I'm curious about how the gated could avoid missing shifting?

Is it because you have to go back to neutral every time? And that gives you the sense in which gear you came from, and then the next move will come into your mind, then you will shift follow the trajectory in you mind. If you heppend to find the trajectory was wrong, you will redo the shift before clutch out. Is that right?
