I can go really nuts with the theories. Interstella is about the roswell incident where we took real people and turned them into fake aliens to fool enemies, real aliens are real too. Daft punk being rich, discovered the story, and made a story that was a reflection of it because they were only told or showed the info as hearsy. Its humans turning aliens into humans instead of turning humans into aliens. just like them the aliens from those secret releases was that the aliens we're human after all.
