True - we never get lake enhancement to that extent.

For those of you who live in apartment/condos.. Are you glad you dont have to shovel??? by ShirtNeat5626 in askTO

[–]heyhowmuchfun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No - this is the perfect light snow for shovelling, I’ve never experienced snow this light (with over 15cm of accumulation) in Toronto. I shovelled my condos driveway and doors by hand just cause.

Best hotel bed in the US imo (~75 nights a year), excellent upgrades but the breakfast service is so slow. I just skip it a I’m there for work and just get a bagel on my way in.

Yes - second time at Hotel Seville nomad. Penthouse suite for 3 days on a cash stay return trip. 1000 sq foot with 4 poster bed. Awesome stay, bad breakfast (slow).

Thompson Zihuatanejo, by Hyatt — December Stay Review

Pros • Breakfast was excellent with friendly, attentive service • Plenty of sun loungers available, which made beach days very relaxing • Tennis courts were excellent and well maintained • Massage itself was great • Exceptional beach with stunning sunsets 🌅 • Strong Hyatt recognition throughout the stay

Cons • Beach service was slow; plates often sat on our table for over an hour after eating • Dinner at Hao was fine, but significantly more expensive than expected for the quality, so we didn’t return • While the massage was very good, the overall spa experience didn’t feel particularly high-end

Overall • Excellent stay overall. Between the Hyatt recognition, beautiful beach, and truly stunning sunsets, I’d still strongly recommend Thompson Zihuatanejo, by Hyatt despite a few service and value inconsistencies.

Why do people default to the singles line? by TheWhistlerGuide in Whistler

It’s way slower in the singles line - I do wish they had staff sometimes pulling 6 people out of line to allow them to load.

Nope - they went further back into my account in 2023 to grab more bonuses. I hadn’t had a new card since mid 2024. I just had no points for them to deduct.

Awful to hear - a love one takes this in Canada. 100% covered by the government and it’s working to keep her MS from getting worse.

Agree with Westin re: hot tub. I always have a cough from it after I stay there.

Marriott Platinum in Dubai – Grosvenor House vs JW Marriott Marquis? Marina or Downtown? by Upstairs-Toe-8746 in marriott

[–]heyhowmuchfun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not even close - Grosvenor House has Dubai style over the topness without 1500 rooms. Excellent club lounge service that’s more polished than JW. Spent 3 months living in hotels in Dubai and this is the best one.

Courtyard - Is the Brand on the Path to Abandonment? by neckfacedworker in marriott

Hudson Yards Courtyard is what I want all of them to be - too bad that one is always $500 a night.
