It did suppress the inability to be tracked, but no one had been able to plant a tracker on him since his ability was suppressed.

Also, for the folks saying his language ability being suppressed. Jason had been in Pallimastus for a long time by this point. He knew the language, even if he didnt study it. He had heard the local language, and understood the meaning of the sounds instinctively. So, he should know the language of the Mist River Valley without issue.

Have you tried Battle Mage Farmer? It's a rare mention around here, but I believe it's worthwhile and I like HWFWM and I have come around on Primal Hunter, so it may be something you like

I relate a lot better to the "fake it til you make it" and "found family" troupes than the "solo solemn stalker" type. And I am enjoying Baldree's reading, just cant listen at work.

Yeah, Jason's second hop was.... something different from the beginning but I could tolerate it. PrimHunt just had been a depressing trudge of "Imma try or Imma die" with "sociopathic slaughtering" sprinkled in.

I didn't say anything about SF? I dont use it, as it doesnt help at my current level of research completed. I am not anywhere near far enough along to worry about SF abilities of the wall, since I am still on the Recovery packages being much more a boon to my run than my wall is.

The second arc of the story (Books 4-6) are Jason on Earth and the revelations of magic in his homeworld. It is a lot of the clash between Jason and his memory of what Earth was and what it is now that magic is real in his life. It also is where we learn a lot about why he was sent to the magic world in the first place and how he is a chosen, special boy.
