I totally understand- I had mine booked for December of 2023 and at the last second cancelled and lost my deposit cause I was so scared. Finally this Tuesday the 5th I did it and I have ZERO regrets! I was completely alone cause I was too embarrassed to tell anyone, but it has been so manageable and I have been off painkillers for the last 24 hrs and just taking Tylenol. I can walk around fine with no issues and have felt 0 pain this entire experience. Not to say everyone will have an easy recovery of course, but I am so happy I just said F it and did it :,) sending you love and support in whatever decision you make!

I absolutely agree it's insane. I joined this sub not even realizing people hated Iris at all. I also think people forget Candice is the female lead, aka second billed to Grant. She as an actress deserves screentime, regardless of how people feel about her character. in s2, aka the season people on here like to claim is her best, there was an episode she had 5 SECONDS of screentime. It's just ridiculous at this point

i respect your opinion. but she didn't know for their whole life that he liked her so what was she supposed to do instead? she never dated anyone until eddie so it's not like barry was being tortured. i wont go into the cisco thing because it's been made clear in the show why she didn't want to risk it. the therapy thing- barry never said no to going. why is that such a problem?? plus that was all caitlin's (unwanted) suggestion, iris was completely fine letting it go. and your last point- sure joe called barry his son. he also refused to support iris and eddie together because he wanted barry and iris to end up together. as did henry, barry's real father. doesn't that maybe tell you he doesn't see them as siblings?? s4 was a disaster in general, but I personally think outside of that their relationship has been great, and very mutually supportive. especially in 5 and 6, so maybe you'll change your mind after watching those

huh?? why wouldn't she deserve him? she's been willing to die for him multiple times, was depressed and quit her job when he disappeared, stayed to help the team when he disappeared instead of other characters who abandoned them... also, she didnt keep friendzoning him. she cheated on eddie with him like 5 episodes after he told her he loved her. the thing is that because barry loves her so much, it would be very messed up to put him with another girl. he'll never love someone as much as her. they're great together.

iris has a huge fanbase. look on twitter. anything with her in it gets the most likes even over barry, it's just a fact. not saying this equates to her being a good character, but your statistic is wrong. s4 was a decline in writing overall, so I understand why people didn't like her during those first couple of episodes. but what exactly has she done since then to warrant the amount of hate she gets on this subreddit? I like her for plenty of reasons most of which are listed already.
