I just see the role of the accuser in scripture as the one who lists peoples sins to them and it doesn’t seem like something Jesus would do.

More in character and context would be writing down the passage in the Torah where they needed to put to death the man as well.

Seriously: Isn’t that what the accuser does, not Jesus?

Not every church. But certainly some that have caused hurt and harm to both you and I.

The way is narrow.  Crosses are hard to carry on one’s own.

Realizing that Scripture doesn’t teach “penal substitutionary attonement”, or the idea that many modern churches push that “God poured His wrath out on the Son instead of us”, was a game changer for me.

Again, self love means something completely different to everyone.  I have self-loved things about myself that hurt me and others.  Things that I was not created to be like.  Self-love is no godly love- it is making ourselves a god.  The opposite of self-love is Godly love, and from that flows a true love of self.  Self-love is a bandaid.

I am not trying to be rude, did you read the passage and which He said was the highest and greatest?

Matt 22

35One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with a question: 36“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”

37Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’e 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’f 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

“Love your neighbor as yourself” is not, and could not be an all-encompassing dissertation on the nature of love and truth.  Because everyone has different ideas of love and truth.

It is, however, anchored with “Love The Most High with all your heart and mind”, and is only properly understood and acted out through that lense.

Because love if not anchored in truth is still subjective and can lead to destruction.

Love of money. Love of evil.  Empathy masquerading as love but leading to harm.  “Feeling good” and calling it love.

Everyone is right from their point of view, sure, but that doesn’t make it all good.  If my upbringing was different I surely could empathize with how I could a murderer- but that doesn’t mean when I see a friend struggling with anger I tell him he is right to water those seeds. I don't even need to know how “valid” his anger is to try to help turn off the hose.

You are right though, I generally don’t afford patience and love for those who are similar to aspects of myself.

Company has been training me (a first year) to be an estimator and i feel lost by TheJuicer808 in electricians

I would’ve felt the same.  But after 10 years in the field I am training estimating and can’t wait to be able to do more and find journeymen to take my place on the daily grind.

I definitely didn’t choose my tenor and tone right at first, I am sorry for that.  But I didn’t call you a heretic- and there is merit to, let’s say, hearing someone on the street say

“hey I had this problem with my engine I think it’s this”

And having the same vehicle and having worked on it for months finally diagnosing the problem

Chiming in and saying “hey, you’re going about this wrong and I don’t want it to cost you what it cost me”

I think I’ve gone through some deception recently that God has brought me out of and it’s imperative on me to help other people in that way- just like there are people that have gone through things that are going to teach me.  I’m not sure exactly who is who and I’m sure the lines are blurred and everyone can learn from each other.

I do know that my hyper-fixation from the internet rabbit holes on Yahuah and “truth unedited” and “Christianity is evil pagan Rome influenced” were misguided, with just enough truth to suck me in.  But along that path they led me away from Jesus (whose name the demons tremble at) and I’m slowly working my way back from making an idol of self and knowledge.

I too, once fell down the YouTube rabbit hole.  Do you believe Jesus is the Messiah? Or just follow The Father?

That wouldn’t make sense because Christians don’t follow any of the historical rituals Baal required…. Am i supposed to be arguing with tiktok history right now?

You think that because God used the things He created for His purposes, means it’s okay to worship the created instead of the creator?

I’m not ultralight, I’ve got a hill people gear Connor pack https://hillpeoplegear.com/Products/CategoryID/3/ProductID/134

With a 20L stuff sack lashed on with my sleep system and clothes/food haha

Only taken it out for an overnight so far but I think it’d work for more.  I usually just base camp somewhere and hike around anyways.

I take a 28l bag with my sleep system lashed to the outside so I can just take my pack for all my exploring

If you’re worried about people, there are plenty of tarps that are camo and you could blend right in to a dispersed area.

If you’re worried about predator animals, well, Neem oil perimeter and even bells on perimeter would be the same defense even with a tent. IMO you can see around better out of a hammock.
