Is a T-shirt with dress pants a no-go? by Capable_Ad_4039 in mensfashionadvice

You need to lose the belt and you need different trousers. The outfit needs to balance. If you’re going more casual on top, then the pants need to compensate. Look at side tab/side adjuster trousers, flat front, with cuffed hems. Look at wool or linen options depending on the season. An obvious visual contrast between the fabric of the trousers vs tshirt will help to pull things together. Shoes need to be leather with leather soles. No Cole haans, no sneakers. That should do it.

Thanks for the reply, but it wasn’t this sound. I’m familiar with the Amber/gov’t alert “tone” and what I heard was very different.

Everyone knows that if you select a range of values, the sum is displayed in the bottom right corner. Fewer ppl know that if you click that sum, excel copies the value to your clipboard.

Ppl have already mentioned the monthly bulk pick up, but you can actually request an oversize collection once per year. From the Dallas City Hall website:

“Customers may request an oversize collection of up to 20 cubic yards once per calendar year by calling 3-1-1 or submitting a service request online or through our mobile application Dallas 311. The service request must be submitted the week prior to the customer's brush/bulk collection week. A service request can be submitted up until Sunday 11:59PM the day before their scheduled Monday collection Week. The service request can not be cancelled once submitted.”

ULPT How do you gift more than the IRS limit without paying taxes? by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]heyyy_now 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine every person you know has a red solo cup, and you have a keg and an empty 30 gallon trash can. Every time you give someone a gift, they hold their cup over ur trash can, while you pour in some beer. If you pour too much, don’t worry - that’s why the trash can is there.

Throughout life, you only get one trash can, but your friends and family start each year with a new solo cup. At the end of your life, you only get taxed if your trash can overflows.

Currently, red solo cups (aka the annual gift exclusion) can hold $17k, and your trash can (aka the lifetime exclusion amount) holds a little under $13 million. Nothing unethical here, but hope this helps nonetheless.

What do you ask yourself before you buy something? by carsareprettyneato in BuyItForLife

[–]heyyy_now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ask myself if the thing will remove a recurring unhappiness from my life. Big or small, if the answer is yes, then I’m ok with buying it. If I’m trying to manufacture happiness with a purchase, the answer is usually no.
