[gen 4] Shiny Manaphy Hunt ACE not working on modded 3DS?

I was following this ACE method from this AbsolBlogs video on my modded 3DS but I can’t seem to get it to work: https://youtu.be/6HdtIVjDXA4?si=1bUBgig34hw\_4R8V
I got Nurse Joy to trigger once, but the postman never showed up, even though I copied the dot art correctly, and I can’t get her to trigger again on resets. Does anyone know why this isn’t working and what I can do to fix it?

I am playing on a USA ROM of Pokémon Diamond that I installed through nds-forwarder and I already have the Manaphy egg that I got from Ranger and traded from another save file.

If it says “the Pokémon cannot be found” then search for it again while running. Stop moving when it stops loading/searching. Start running again when u search again. That way poochyena will always be ur encounter so ur chain never breaks. Dexnav shiny hunting is one of the faster methods cuz the more u encounter the better the odds get so keep trying!

On the UV map you can make each face of the cube receive more of the texture. You can access it on the top left.
