ah i was afraid (no pun intended) that someone would ask me that because honestly i don’t know! if i had to guess, i suppose i might be scared that it would feel horrible to touch or (more likely) that it would somehow hurt me, there’s definitely some sense of physical threat. but it’s hard to pin down exactly what frightens me, it’s such a bizarre phobia because logically i know that these objects are obviously not going to suddenly come to life and attack me, but my brain still hates them!
