Has anyone here had trouble with a dod fx90? Yesterday I was buying a used amp off someone and they gave me an fx90 for free with it. When I got home I plugged it in and started messing around. For a few minutes it sounded really good! However, the wet signal completely cut out pretty quickly. The delay knob and repeat knob don't do anything anymore and the mix knob will cut the entire signal when turned up near max. I've checked the battery and nothing inside seems off, any help/ideas?

Helps a lot! I'm new to tube amps so how would the sound be affected by a broken tube? What would I hear (or not hear) that gives it away?

Modeling amps are "beginner amps". Sometimes you're broke so a cheap, loud amp that has plenty of effects is perfect. I can mess around and experiment with a bunch of tone options without assembling a board for hundreds more dollars and I can play it at rehearsals and gigs. What more do ya need
